We’re thankful to share that Amy had a better day yesterday.
The team believes her atrial fibrillation is now under control, and her heart rate is back to normal. Late last night, she was transferred out of the ICU and back to the transplant floor, which is another encouraging sign that things are stabilizing.
We also received word that Amy’s discharge is now set for this weekend. While she will still need ongoing monitoring and care, including regular follow-up appointments, this is a major step forward in her recovery, and we’re giving thanks to God.
Please continue to pray:
- For complete healing and no complications
- For her body to fully adjust to the new liver
- For effective pain management and restorative rest
- For her care team and support staff as they guide her next steps
- For continued healing and strength for the anonymous donor
- For peace, strength, and endurance for our family during this next phase
We remain deeply grateful to the donor whose selfless gift made this journey possible. Though we may never know their name, God does, and we pray His abundant blessing over their life and health.
Thank you again for your prayers, love, and ongoing support. We are not walking this road alone, and that means more than we can say.
With gratitude,
James
