Continued Progress and Encouragement – Tuesday Update

We’re grateful to share another positive update today—Amy continues to make steady and encouraging progress.

The doctors have been very pleased with how she’s doing. While they’re still monitoring and managing her blood sugar, they believe they now have it under control. This is a common post-transplant issue, and we’re thankful that her team has responded quickly and effectively.

Today, Amy met with multiple members of her care team, including:

  • Occupational therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Her medical team
  • And even her surgeon

Each of them expressed how happy and impressed they are with her recovery. They’ve all said she is well ahead of schedule—a true gift, and something we do not take for granted.

If things continue on this path, Amy is on track for discharge within the next couple of days. As we mentioned yesterday, we will remain in the Philadelphia area for at least one to two weeks following her discharge to allow for close monitoring, laboratory tests, and follow-up visits.

Your prayers are being felt tremendously. Truly. We are grateful beyond words for the outpouring of love and intercession.

Please continue to pray:

  • For smooth and complete wound healing
  • For her blood sugar to remain stable
  • For wisdom and clarity as we prepare for discharge
  • For strength and rest during this next phase
  • For the continued healing of the donor
  • For peace, protection, and grace in the days ahead

Thank you for walking with us on this journey.

With all our gratitude,
James
