Discharged and Entering a New Phase

We’re deeply thankful to share a joyful update: Amy has been officially discharged from the hospital!

This marks a significant turning point in her recovery journey. After a little over a week of post-transplant care, including a few setbacks and several answered prayers, Amy is now resting at the transplant house here in Philadelphia, where we will remain for the next two weeks for close monitoring and follow-up care.

The transition from hospital to outpatient recovery is both exciting and sobering. While we’re grateful for this progress, we know the road ahead still requires patience, strength, and trust. But today, we pause to give thanks for God’s faithfulness, for the incredible care team, for the anonymous donor, and for each of you who have walked alongside us with prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support.

Thank you for continuing to pray for steady healing, rest, and all the details ahead.

With gratitude and hope,
James

“The LORD has done great things for us; we are glad.” – Psalm 126:3
